When exactly do crisis tokens execute? and when do you place them? is it at the end of phase 4? or immediate?

Correct. The rulebook states the number of viruses required to "trigger a crisis" (p.6), which means that as soon as that number of viruses is reached in an organ the marker is placed on it.

In step 4: "Immnune Response" crisis are simply resolved.

Which can occur essentially in mid-move, as far as we interpreted it. Meaning, if you're moving a piece as part of a two-Move card, the first move can create a Crisis ain the first organ entered and the second move could also potentially create a Crisis in a second organ entered.

We just played three-player and had an absolute blast - great game!
