Subject: Hindering question from rules example. How to calculate? rss

I see in the example on page 17, with two heroes and three enemies, that Conan needs to spend 2 extra, and after he goes, his friend needs to spend three. But if I calculate the difference between heroes and enemies, Conan should spend one more, and then his friend two more. How did they calculate this?

Hi,

You do not include the character performing the action (Moving, Range attacking or Manipulating) in your Hindering calculation.

So 3 enemies minus Hadrathus is 2 extra movement points

I was also somewhat confused but think of it, as mentioned in the rules, that the other (non acting) hero keeps an enemy busy, so that enemy can not hinder you. Then the calculation might be clearer.
