This card appears to break the distribution rules. I think one side was printed upside down. If you flip the card about its horizontal axis, it works out. Now I feel like I need to go through all the cards...

You are supposed to sit across the table from each other, so the top of the board on my card is the bottom of the board from your perspective. Is that the issue here? I see one overlapping assassin: B2 in the top picture is the same spot at D4 on the bottom picture. I'd recommend setting it up like the picture and physically checking the overlap.

Okay, suppose I'm looking at the top picture and you're looking at the bottom. Call the squares in the top picture

11 12 13 14 15
21 22 23 24 25
31 32 33 34 35
41 42 43 44 45
51 52 53 54 55

Since my up is your down (and my left is your right) that means the corresponding squares in the bottom picture are

55 54 53 52 51
45 44 43 42 41
35 34 33 32 31
25 24 23 22 21
15 14 13 12 11

So: squares that are green for me and white for you (should be five):
25, 32, 33, 45, 53

Squares that are white for me and green for you (should be five):
11, 15, 43, 44, 51

Squares that are green for both of us (should be three):
12, 31, 55

Squares that are white for both of us (should be seven):
13, 21, 23, 24, 34, 35, 42

BG assassin: 41
BW assassin: 54
BB assassin: 22
WB assassin: 14
GB assassin: 52

Seems right to me?

Funny story. During the development of the game, someone at CGE had exactly the same issue. He must have been having a bad day or something, but he kept saying some of the grids were wrong, even though everyone else kept telling him they weren't wrong.

He was getting confused and frustrated, until eventually he realised.... and then felt a bit of an idiot, considering he was on the development team.

That someone may have been me.

Yeah, I slipped up, posted then deleted realising how the top and bottom of the cards are reversed for the other player (I used the mirror and slanted the card away to about 45 degrees from me to 'see' the 'merging').
