Other than the Big Box including all of the expansions, is there any other differences between the two editions? Rules, map, errata, etc?

The components are different, but I assume that's not what you mean. As I understand it there are no rules differences or extra components, bar those in the kickstarter exclusive.

Big Box has all the rules in a single book (base+expansions).

The Big Box has a double-sided board, one side has spaces for rocket dice. Robert already mentioned the expanded rulebook. The new 5th edition has new artwork and a new rulebook, but no rules changes. Hope that helps!
