When the last card is drawn from the deck, either directly or when replenishing the tableu, that player is done. Each other player gets one final turn.

This seems to slow the end game down, as no one wants to take that last card (forfeiting their turn) and giving everyone else one last scoring opportunity.

Does this seem wrong to anyone else? We tried it today where the person to trigger the end game got one more turn. It seemed "right",

Thoughts?

It seemed odd to us too. The person drawing the card from the tableau or deck gets to do nothing with it - so why would you
...except it was used if you were ahead no coins to give the other player(s) only one turn to catch up.
I actually found this game quite well balanced so the difference in final coins was not that great so noone was that confident they were ahead enough
