1] Source?
2] Link?
3] If true, how should Americans feel about that?

The 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. live news show on sirius MSNBC. It was in the last few minutes of the show.

I've been hearing dribs and drabs about Russians using Facebook all day long on CNN and MSNBC.

Apparently the Russians placed targeted ads to about 20 million Facebook users and Facebook will not reveal what the ads were even though they now know the user IDs that placed them were fake IDs and not real people.

The big question is there is how did they know which 20 million people to target. As well as what did their advertisements say.

Seems like facebook had to provide them a demographic group to me.

Wow, it's legit. That's pretty blatant.

That's how targeting ads work. Am I missing something here?

So far facebook has been denying it and stonewalling.

The irony of Facebook standing on privacy rights is stunning. I mean there's like a 16 lb fly in my Chardonnay.

Confirms my suspicion:

People who get their news from social media are easily duped and mostly likely fools.

Do you have a citation for that? Everything I've read, including the Reuters and CNN articles linked above, have said that Facebook is cooperating with federal investigators and Congressional committees.

Ah. Perhaps when they got subpoenaed or asked to testify before Congress they suddenly remembered the combination to the cooperation safe.
