Looking at plays logged for current month, these are some of my old (published at least ten years ago) favorite games that aren't being played much these days:

NAME/PLAYS LOGGED CURRENT MONTH
Maharaja: The Game of Palace Building in India - 3
In the Shadow of the Emperor - 6
Louis XIV - 7
Aladdin's Dragons - 9
San Marco - 10
Lord of the Rings: The Confrontation - 12
Taj Mahal - 13

Post your own list!

Out of curiosity I looked at logged plays of the BGG highest ranked games for the years:
2017 - Gloomhaven - 580
2012 - Terra Mystica - 558
2007 - Agricola - 411
2002 - Puerto Rico - 300
1997 - Tigris & Euphrates - 210
1992 - Modern Art - 175

210 logged plays right now. That's a downright gamer population explosion compared to one of my favs, Cuba, which has 11. Of course, that should actually be 14 since I don't log.

If it makes you feel any better, I played Cuba twice this month.

Pete (isn't too keen on logging plays)

The best games, period:
Napoleon's Triumph - 0!? (Twice in the last couple weeks I've almost gotten to play this)
Rommel in the Desert - 2
EastFront/EastFront II - 1

Older games still in the rotation around here:
Knaves - 4 (but only 3 distinct, and I was in 2 of those 3)
Chicago Express - 56 (glad to see this getting played so much)
Neue Heimat - 6

Games which used to be favorites but which have been out of the rotation for a long time here:
Wiz-War - 3 (probably supplanted by the Fantasy Flight 8th edition, which is a separate entry)
Conquest of the Empire - 0
Condottiere - 31 (most of those are probably the yucky Fantasy Flight 3rd edition)

With the exception of a couple games which have over a hundred plays so far this month (Battle Line, Wizard), I think it's safe to say that the vast majority of BGGers have terrible taste in games.

On the same night this week I played Long Shot for the first time since June 2015 and PitchCar for the first time since April 2011.

This is why I log my plays.

I'm not well versed in train games or economic games and Chicago Express has been a blast trying to figure out.

Awesome game!!! I have played this with my GF at least 20 times (which is a lot for me - cult of the new and cult of the future new)

But sadly, this game has not gotten much buzz which is sad because the game is a delight to play and look at.

It's all right. But hardly in the category of 'ten year old games' that the OP specified.
