Is there a specific way to pack the card holders?
Currently I put both trove loot and loot into one box.
Then all encounters (solo, general, special) and tyrant cards into the other box. However, this box becomes extremely hard to close and open because it is packed so tight.
I must just be missing something simple.

That's how I store my cards. Are your cards sleeved? Mine are without sleeves and its not that hard to close and open the box.

Loot in one, everything else in the other. I do leave the Day Timer card out though, since I have the mat and chip. My boxes close fine though.

My cards are not sleeved. I do have a couple extra promos though.
There are two boxes, I wonder if one is larger than the other?

I couldn't tell any difference myself. I put loot and trove loot in the crate looking box and encounters and Tyrants in the Velcro box with time and cover cards (and promos in each in accordance with type) and it all fits fine.
