Subject: Which version Combinatorics to use? rss

I picked up a used copy of the 3rd edition and purchased the promo chips off the BGG store.

I didn't realize the use copy I got already had an older version of the promo chips mixed in.

It appears that Custom Combo and Dashing Strike haven't changed but Combinatorics has.

Which version is meant for the 3rd edition or does it matter? Should I keep both and just not use them at the same time?

The version you should use is the version listed on the Sirlin Games website, see below link . . . except the promo chips are not listed?

Not sure which two you have, can you please post an image?

I believe the brown is the older version and purple is the newer version.

I believe the brown is the older version and purple is the newer version.

100% it is the second purple one, I was not sure what you might have but the brown is definitely wrong. Hope this helps.
