What does it mean, on the Village terrain, that if you kill an enemy via close combat you interrogate them first? I don't understand what that does, how it makes it harder, etc.

This is just an additional objective to complete. You are supposed to eliminate two enemies using close combat to achieve this additional goal. Thematically the close combat action is representing interrogating the enemy.

Did it say that somewhere on the card (needing to eliminate 2 enemies this way)? I don't remember seeing that at all...but I have been known to miss things before.
