We started off our 3rd GNAW (Gaming Night At Wheeler's) with Bruno's enjoyable city builder.
The players were Trevor, Mike, Mitch, Ruth, my little brother Jordan, and Corey.
I introduced everyone to the rules and then sat back to watch the intrigue build.
The high points of the game for me:
Mitch was assassinated for the first 4 turns of the game. The entire table was nearly in tears at the humanity of it all
In the meantime, Jordan began with an architectural jumpstart and then managed to quietly build his city and always picked the bishop on the same turn that someone noticed him and tried to burn a building. He eventually won the game.
Everyone picked up on the rules of this excellent game quickly and it was an fabulous prelude to a night of fantastic games.
