This question has been asked before, but as the game has been out longer now, I wanted to follow up. Is the game worth playing for two or should we wait until we could find 3 to play it?

Thanks!

I enjoy it at 2, but it definitely is better with more. I would suggest trying the tighter map layout (use only 3 modular boards instead of 4, but still make sure there are at least 8 parcels available) if you are going to play 2-player. I think it is definitely worthy of playing with only 2 because it is still quite good, just not quite as amazing as it can be.

I think that the worst part with two players is the auction phase. The rest is perfectly fine.

I've only played it with 2, and enjoy it a lot.

I have played Tramways at all player counts, and it's always enjoyable and worth your time. I enjoy it most at the max player count as the auctions become crazy vicious.
