I have designed a campaign for a friends bachelor party. We are going to be playing with 2 people outside our normal group and with that our normal group will be playing new characters so everyone is equal. We are playing in the same campaign world as our main hero's so will have unlocked the same advanced classes and what not. We are making a drinking game out of it being that it's a bachelor party.

What I need help with is how to make battle goals reward unique for a 2 mission campaign. These being characters we are only playing for 2 missions check marks are going to be useless. I feel battle goals are an important part of the game (I know we have lost scenarios more or less because of these.)

I had originally thought players could make each other drink for successful battle goals but then realized making allies get drunker might not be a good thing.

Either play two of the random side scenarios, or two fan-made scenarios.

Maybe each gold they loot is a shot.
Have secret door prizes for anybody who completes their battle goals.

Everybody puts $5 in apot, and if you guys win the scenario, the pot goes to the groom.

Door prizes for battle goals sound like a good idea. Particularly if they go to whoever gets the most check marks between the two scenarios. This also keeps the "not quite 100% cooperative" vibe that Gloomhaven shoots for. If you go this route, I'd have players only get one check-mark goals in the first scenario and two check-mark goals in the second so that: 1) Players that didn't get their first goal still have an incentive to go for their second, and 2) Everyone has an equal opportunity to earn check marks.

You could do something similar for money/value of equipment by the end, but this probably rewards certain classes more than others.

Drink for killing an enemy
Drink each time you get an xp
Drink for opening a door
Drink for setting off a trap
Drink for a short rest
Drink for picking up loot
Drink if you put a condition on an enemy
Down the pint if you long rest
Down the pint if you do something 'cool' put it to a vote
Drink the other guys drink if they heal you

Can I join the party?

I'm not a big drinker but what I'm planning is
Take damage=that many drinks.
Card goes into lost=take a drink
Spring a trap=finish your drink
Get exhausted=chug a beer.or a shot I'll be letting people decide what they want to drink.
I figure people should need to drink for doing poorly.

I got no problem with that. But I will be posting the scenario online once we are done for anyone wanting to play it. Only part I'm struggling with is creating the map onto the actually scenario page.
