Hi!

I have a doubt about the solitaire game.
When you play the skill of a card, the rules says that you ignore those effects related to other players. But, do you ignore the rest of effects?

For instance: I play a card that says "Put the top card of your discard pile on the discard pile of other player. Then, draw three cards."

- Ignore the whole text since there is something that affects other players?

- Or ignore only the part that affects other players. So, I draw three cards.

Thanks!

I only ignore the part that deals with other players.
So draw three cards.

Errr ... I'm pretty sure that's not correct.
The action is supposed to be "atomic" - ie indivisible. If you can't do part of the action then you can't do it all.

At the most basic level, giving away a card from your discard pile is the payment that allows you to draw three more cards. You don't just get three for free. (Of course perverting that process is part of the fun of Valley of the Kings)

Rainbow snake is right. If you can't do the whole action, you can't do any of it.

Since there are no other players, I would say put it the boneyard and then draw cards.

Your other choice is that this card is useless except for it's gold value.

Shrug, that's what the creator above you recommends, but a normal rule of games is you can have whatever houserules you like.
