Subject: Alternate rules for roaming monsters early on rss

Has anyone tried not having level 1 roaming monsters spawn with equipment or not be able to use it to see if this helps with early game op Mobs ? Not sure if this would unbalance other aspects early on..

Yes, we call them Minor Roaming Monsters. Just Roaming Monsters spawning at Level 1 without Equipment.

This helped stop the total party kills of bad draws (early roaming monster with armor often enough), aside from this we noticed no difference in non-story mode. One less Equipment card is all. Some Agents/Guardians with great gear can still be problematic at Lvl 1, but not as difficult as some of the RM's.

Are there roaming monsters that even spawn at level 1? Every event I've drawn says don't spawn if still level 1.

Yes, there are - and you can have two of them, if I am not mistaken.
