How do you get rid of bloody? It has an anchor symbol so can you lower an item in your stack with the brown anchor symbol to discard it?
Do you also keep poisoned until you can get rid of it? (no idea how you do that though as yet)

Also when an item says "Using this does not lower the durability of the item" what does that mean?

Bloody and Poisoned are the two most difficult state cards to get rid off.

Bloody can be removed if you take a swim/sail action. These are seldom but they do exist.
Sometimes

you'll get lucky and find an exploration card that lets you remove it.

Or

if you play with the Facing the Elements expansion there is a new semi-reliable way to clean yourself.

Poisoned you will need either to play with Pendleton, or to

find a specific 050 card and then the right plant IIRC

But the most reliable way is probably

a couple of advanced skills that are super expensive to craft.

I think there also is a

treasure card that can remove the state for you
but I'm not certain.
