Wow, Mike you took a trip down the dark side of gaming for that one. However, social anxiety is definitely a real thing with a lot of board gamers, but then again so is cheating.

Hey Chris!

In a strange sort of way, I see this comic as kind of a hopeful thing. I mean, all these people who are uncomfortable in social situations have found a way to play games together. I know the joke of the comic doesn't go really go that direction, but it was something I was thinking of when I was drawing it.

Or maybe I'm just rationalizing the 'darkness' of the comic. But I hope not.

-Mike

PS: I miss playing games with you! Hope all is well.

I...don't get it.

Gaming is my biggest hobby. I work in mental health. I have a degree in English. I have social anxiety. I have a dark sense of humor.

I should probably be able to get the comic if getting it exists.

I can't even figure out how it's trying to make sense.

How do you take full responsibility for cheating? How are bags curing anxiety?

I dunno. Maybe it's just being absurd but it's too wordy for that.

"Ronald always seems to win at the anxiety anonymous meetings..." or something?

*shrugs*

the bags aren't curing anxiety. The people are so afflicted by social anxiety that they wear bags to cover their faces before going into public.

Ronald admitted to cheating but admitted he did it bc the bags had made it so easy for him to do so in the first place.

Yes, thank you, that's basically the joke.
