The Tile Occupation Rules on pg. 21 of the 2nd edition rulebook appear to have a contradiction.

The beginning of the paragraph spells out the points per tile: Rooms have 12, Dead Ends have 4, everything else has 8.
But later on (after a sentence on Predator tiles, available separately) is a sentence that states: "Each tile in the game has a capacity of eight Occupation Points."

Which is it?
I think I saw something saying that 8 per tile has 1st edition and 2nd edition added differing OPs by tile type. If that's the case, then the '8 OP per tile' sentence could be a holdover sentence from the previous edition that wasn't edited.

Thanks in advance.

It's got to be 12, 8, and 4. You couldn't get 8 marines on a dead end tile.

Yes, the different occupation limits are the ones that stand. The sentence you mention was supposed to be deleted (replaced by the new limits and pred tiles reference). Sorry for the confusion mate.

Cheers,
K.
