Hey guys, just got my hands on Cave Evil! Got it for 135 with shipping, is that a good price?

Anyways, would you guys recommend the mounted board?

Thank you!

Congrats on grabbing this amazing game!

I was certain that no matter what anyone told me, I would prefer the mounted board. When I tried it with the paper and mounted board, I saw that I had been wrong. The "board" really becomes the tunnels you build. I would save the money for the mounted board and consider picking up a little plexiglass if you wanted to invest more in having a playable space (or pimp out the components with wooden bits as I did).

Have fun!

Edit: Yes, to agree with the post below; that is a good price for CE.

I have the mounted board ...it works but seems you could mount the paper map given to something else just fine.

We play on the mounted board all the time, but the paper map is just fine. If you've got more money to burn, then go for it!

Considering some of the stupid prices I've seen for Cave Evil, I'd say you got a good deal, too!
