October'17 US Shipping Perpetual Math Trade

Trade ends 10/16/17 8pm PST.

This is a US shipping math trade. To participate you must be able to ship and receive from/to a US address. You must also use www.abecorn.com to list and setup your matrix. Your BGG account will be linked on sign up.

Need help on your first trade? See the Quickstart

To join: Go to http://trade.abecorn.com, click "Hosted Trades", click the big link with the timer and the dinosaur "September 17' Shipping Trade".

We've updated the cash/value feature from your suggestions. How cash offers work

Major differences from OLWLG trades

-Your traded entries are automatically subtracted if they trade.
-If you don't login at least once a week and accept your matrix, your account will go inactive and won't be considered in that run.
-The submission window is always open.
-You're automatically notified of deleted or edited entries you want.
-You can make direct cash offers on entries
(if you set a minimum value for your listed entries, you also automatically want ALL cash entries anyone may offer of that value or greater in exchange for your item)
-You can see all the current offers on your entries (You can also offer direct trade offers from this offer screen)
-Click all boxes in row/column is built in and doesnt need 3rd party software
-Duplicate protection is a single click.
-You can duplicate protect different unlike listings in two clicks.
-Your results are final when the timer runs out. Results are posted automatically on BGG, geekmail, and email.
-It works on all browsers and devices

Results are automatically posted on BGG at
abecorn results page, you'll also receive a geekmail and email if you have results.

Anytime you make a change to your matrix, you must click the accept button to be considered in the results.

Re: October'17 US Shipping Perpetual Math Trade
Rules and Guidelines:

d10-1This trade will utilize www.abecorn.com

d10-2You are required to accurately describe the condition of your game. This entails inventorying all parts including inserts. Should you find your game is in lesser condition than you originally listed it. Edit the listing or delete it.

d10-3Unless stated, it will be assumed that your game is the most recent printing. If the primary language is something other than English, this needs to be clearly stated, even if the game is language independent. Please acknowledge questions to all of your listings.

Sample Description:

Condition: 1 corner dented(Photo Below)
Edition: Multilingual 2nd
Ships: Free to all 50 incl MPO's

d10-4 Add sweeteners by typing the name of the game into the condition description of the primary lsting.

d10-5Items that are not in the database but related to gaming or a similar culture are allowed. You amy create your own custom entry for this purpose.

d10-6 If you intend to trade for cash equivalents, you must pay BGG a 3% commission. See Guidelines

d10-7 Do not use a listing for items unless you are offering that listing. For example, do not list a game if you're only offering certain components for that game.

d10-8You are responsible for your listings and the results. Please message users with questions on their listings. Results are monitored, but assumed final when the timer runs out.

I think the end time on abecorn site might be wrong, says 10 days left today... also still says September

With a little more than 24 hours left before the 10/16/17 abecorn trade ends we're at 49% with an approved matrix. Please don't forget to click "Approve Matrix" (with the big green check mark) for your items to be considered in the trade.

Otherwise you're always welcome to offer direct trades on offers made on your listings.

If you don't get a trade, you won't get a reject message, but you can always view the results at .

As always feel free to ask questions or make comments!

That is the smallest trade I have seen yet. Are people not participating? It was small two weeks ago too.

Only 4 trades?
Maybe there's a glitch in the matrix?

The trade ended with only 47% (133) approved it didn't get critical mass to make trades.

We've got a few big updates we've been working on the last 4 months to greatly improve this.

Re: October'17 US Shipping Perpetual Math Trade
It seems like the really successful ones get around 60-70% approved and we see a ton of trades. Hopefully the end of Oct one will see that.

Help me understand what the 47% means.

133 (47% of the users participating) people clicked "Accept Matrix" sometime within the last 12 days. The other 170 some users either didn't log on (and their listings haven't expired) or they didn't click "Accept Matrix" (and their listings weren't considered in the trade).

Re: October'17 US Shipping Perpetual Math Trade
Ben,
I have a question, someone setup a math trade for Austin. If I re-import my stuff from bgg while in that math trade will it reset my shipping math trade selections or change anything or will it just get things started with the other math trade?

Thanks!

Importing your BGG data won't effect anything in your matrix in any trade. All it does is update the back end information on what games you have for trade/condition information for those games and allow you to filter by wants.

Any selections you make on abecorn automatically add to that list, so if you've added a game from outside your BGG list, abecorn will automatically add that game to your for trade list. Re-importing will reset that back end list back to whatever BGG has.

Cool thanks! It also looks like the Austin trade is broken none of the items are showing up for anyone even though it says new items listed.

The no-trade was setup without an address so the filters end up hiding the listings by default. I put in an address, give it a few minutes refresh and correct itself.
