Greetings, we're in the process right now of considering adding a support link in the rules for King's Forge: Gold. This post is a placeholder for the content being finalized.

This forum post may eventually hold:

Gather Card profiles - Previous editions of King's Forge rules have all included a walk-through of the top and bottom of each Gather card. Since King's Forge: Gold is a mini-expansion in a much smaller box, this support content will likely not make it into the rules. We'll provide that Gather card profiles here and detail how they interact with specific other cards.

Frequently Asked Questions - The idea here is that we'll look to gather various forum thread questions into this central location so that you don't need to scan through all of the threads to find your answer. It's of course still great for people to post questions as individual threads. That provides an excellent space to talk through details and have a dialogue. But I'll provide the extra step of looking to then curate the highlights of each discussion and answer here so that others have a central location to review content.

Helpful Diagrams - A picture is worth a thousand words right? Of course, but they also take up a lot of space in a potentially small rules sheet. Recent chats with the original designer of the King's Forge base game, Nick Sibicky, have encouraged me to try to incorporate the board in coaching the layout of the additional scenarios added by Gold. This is a very solid recommendation and he's right---but I also want to share the layouts that do not utilize the board and are travel-friendly and more portable. Here we have the space to share those options.

This post is an extension of thinking through the touch points of where you interact with a game after it is published. We just need to put things in place before we even go to print.

Noble effort
The player who receive the gold die is the first to craft the item, right ? Not the one who give the item to the king. So, what if the card is stolen many times ?
