Bunch of shuffling around the #100 spot with Viticulture taking it on the chin. It is a good reminder that the bottom (V was #96 last week) are all in danger at any given time. Age of Steam is the oldest of the five having first entered the chart in 2003 (it has never not been on my weekly chart).

Have a good week.

As much as I love Terraforming Mars, I've been dreading this moment. I knew it was coming, but that hasn't helped stop the pain.

Both Terra Mystica and Terraforming Mars have problems (the former, balancing issues, the latter, lack of card control) but I find TM the latter is a hurt a little more than TM the former strategically by it's issues particularly when you can play identical races or use a VP bidding system to fix TM the former.

Anyway, I digress. I love Terraforming Mars, but I loooove Terra Mystica. Sad days.

Out of curiosity, when did you switch terminology from "Hot Lava Births" to "Top 100 Debuts"?

Still interesting that TM was deemed imbalanced and hit #2, IIRC, but then Caverna hit #3(?) with an infinite loop flaw.

The designer made a rule tweak that fixed the infinite loop flaw in Caverna, so that's no longer an issue.

Excited to see games like Feast and Concordia reaching new peaks. Bummed to see games like La Granja falling.
