I re-tooled my storage solution and was stuck on an effective way to store my tiles. Then I had an epiphany,

Which led to,

My only concern here is the long-term durability of the Pringles tubes.
But a cheap solution nonetheless.

One long tube can hold
- nearly three sets of core tiles
- one set of winter wars tiles

One short tube can hold
- two sets of Med, Pacific or Eastern front tiles
- one set of terrain tiles

From the dollar store: you don't have to take everything out to find a tile.

I like my 3-ring binder with card sheets. Kind of a pain to clean up, but I can find the right tiles so much more quickly for set-up.

But the ball machine is hell on the cardboard.

Well if you have a better way of laying out the tiles, I'd like to hear it.

Don't know if that's comedic folly or not? Anyway, I've never had a problem in the past ten years of storing them. IMO, I'd use tennis ball containers to that over oily potato chip packaged containers.

Steady on chaps!

Pros and cons:

They are the same diameter

Tennis Ball containers - more sturdy I'd imagine, doesn't require rinsing, good if you play tennis.

Pringles containers - cheaper, you can eat the contents.

That is a fantastic idea! They fit right into standard card sheets?
