Big gains for 7th Continent as the two TMs see-saw and six and seven.

Have a good week.

I expect The 7th Continent to do the typical 2 year arc. I just don't expect people to respond long term to the idea of playing for hours, dying, and then doing a do over.

I have used the phrase "They were a beta tester for the ugly stick" before.

Stone Age? Interesting.

No more Concordia movement.

Hmm, the second KS might extend that period somewhat though.

Interesting to see Terra Mystica fighting back.

According to this, TM was the second fastest rising game this week. 82 new rankings.

I haven't rated games in ages, but I would put Terraforming Mars over Terra Mystica.

I believe both of these can be attributed to the recent reprints increasing a new visibility in them.

I wouldn't say fighting back. It's just some semirandom fluctuation at the 3rd or 4th decimal place while they are very close to each other. In fact as of now, TFM is #6 again. Tomorrow it might not be.

Long term, TFM will probably pull away as it adds more ratings, unless its user rating drops quite a bit. Although this has happened to some extent recently, which accounts for TFM's stalled geek rating over the past couple weeks (more ratings are nearly exactly counteracting the drop in average rating).
