Hi, folks, has someone of you started the quick-start with more than four heroes?

I am wondering what to do. The advanced rulebook mentions the problems with the insufficient life support, but it is a question if it would make a balanced setup (one dice of damage/extra person to everyone).

The first scenario reflects the number of heroes (so maybe adding more droids and enemies would balance things).

I ran scenario 1 with 5, and it worked, though it was a little slow.

I throw in an extra enemy for the fifth player and wouldn’t do 6 because it could drag.
When I do this I upgrade the life support in my head to keep it legal. If the players are savvy, I will put the upgrade marker on the board and explain. The purpose of this mission is to get them familiar with the basics. Read the table to see how deep you can go. I have a bad habit of wanting to show off everything.
