So what is the correct way to pronounce Uno? Wikipedia has this to say:
Despite being developed in America, Uno is officially pronounced exactly the same way as the Italian and Spanish word for "one", uno.
Of course, we all know that everything on Wikipedia is entirely true [/end sarcasm]. But if this information is correct, what would be the correct pronunciation? Is it "yoo-no" with the first syllable pronounced "you"? On the other hand if there is no "y" sound, is the "oo" sound in "oo-no" similar to the sound in "food" or "too", or is it similar to the "oo" sound in "good" or "book"?
