Guess I'm the only one that can't interpret rules since no one else seems to have asked this.

What are we supposed to do with the SB number?

Does it modify the modifier or replace the modifier?

Example: SB rating of 0 makes the -4 a 0 (replaces) or the 0 gets applied to the -4 so still -4 (modified)?

And what is Other trying to tell you?

This is for forward compatibility with MBT (second edition).

"4.4.3.2.2 AP Hit Modifiers
...
Short Halt: SB: 0, Other
If the firing Vehicle has a Short Halt command—the modifier
is –4.
All vehicles have a Stabilization Rating. It is the SB: 0 in their
Weapon Data section.
This represents the greater challenge of hitting a target while
firing and then moving with a Short Halt command.
[note]While some WWII era vehicles were equipped with rudimentary
stabilization systems, in the context of this game, they do not
provide any measurable advantage.
[note]"

If I'm not mistaken, no Panzer vehicle has a Stabilization Rating, they are all 0 or Other, so, the rule above is applied to them all, meaning all of them will have the -4 modifier when Short Halting.

As Brian said, I believe it was added to keep the system consistent with the MBT game, where SBs are different than 0 in some vehicles.

I didn't know how the MBT comment was supposed to be helpful to my question.

I had read that rule reference Eduardo but wasn't understanding what it exactly meant we do with the SB number. Thanks for your help. Still don't know what other would be but in due time I'll probably find out.
