I know I am heretical devil
I want to play this game but my regular players find it "too much".
i must admit I really do not understand why some details were included.
The trader - the builder could have been more simple - or the fact if you are the leading player you do not increase your on guild board - the order limit - the river

May i ask how many times did you play it?

Since most of the player have their problems in the first few plays, everything gets more clear and easier later on...
I can imagin you could do something like a Tutorial: Just go for the Basic things and let the little Details for a real session later on.

Enjoy!

yep that's exactly what I am expecting
I mean it is really a drawback when within your group one player is "out" of the game because I lost him during the explanation

You have two options before you.
1) Seek out higher caliber players.
2) Seek out lower caliber games.
