Can it be that the 4 core maps don't have one single water terrain? Or am I not looking close enugh?

Water terrain and aquatic creatures appear on some expansions only.

Indeed, the base game has only land units, plus a few flying units in pandora's box.

Besides Poseidon Expansion what other units are water based?

I know Ketos in the Corinthia expansion is...

There is a downloadable map that you can print and play with lots of water terrain. It is a stream with big boulders to break up the water.

River Styx has some water I imagine? I also believe that the Hydra counts as aquatic.

Yes that's whhat made me so confused. Why have water creatures in the god pledge but not a single water field in the maps?
