Do all survivors start with a founding stone and a loin cloth or just the four begginers.
In other words will all my ten happy campers have them?

Nope, only the starting four get the stones and cloths. You'll have to fashion the rest from beastie parts.

Thanks guys!
I watched someone play on a video link and he gave all his settlers stones.
Doubt then set in and I thought I'd missed summat, nice to know I've been dying correctly 😀

Take pty and just endeavor to make babies. At a rate of one a year, you end up with 40-48 founding stones.

Hunt only l1 lion's until you have enough to hunt only l2 antelopes. Craft all your gear from those.

Always send 4 guys to be destroyed by nemeses.

The watcher is pelted by 16 stones, having acted exactly once before being stoned to death.

Send four guys to die every l3 hunt, using pictographs to run away when possible.

Destroy the gsk with all your remaining stones. Game over.

How could this not be easy?

Because survivors gained through intimacy do not come with founding stones. They don't even come with Loinclothes. They are born naked. The game would be trivial otherwise (as you pointed out).

Yup, I was answering to the post right above, which stated that giving each new survivor a founding Stone would not make the game exceedingly easy.

Could you tell where the actual rule about this is located?
There is a controversy in my group about this (between the "I don't want no stinkin' challenge" faction and the "blood, sweat, toil and tears" faction )
and being very new to the game I can't prove either way.

It is the other way around, really. The game instructs you to do stuff. When you create a new survivor, you are NOT instructed to give them a founding stone and a cloth. Conversely, when you create the four starting survivors for the prologue, you are explicitly instructed to give them founding stones and cloth.

The nonsense lies in the fact that people who wants extra stuff should point where the rules says that extra stuff is acceptable. Who does exactly what the book states never has to justify themselves. At most, they get an errata or a clarification at some point.
