For a variety of reasons I'm trying to make a version of "Valley of the Mammoths" that has a modular board - ie, 36 hex pieces that can be rearranged to make (more than 4) different boards.

Does anyone know of any game(s) that comes with pieces like that?

I just got a copy of Diceland that works okay and was very cheap to acquire, but it doesn't have enough hexes so I'd have to get another copy to make it work.

Before I do that I thought I'd see if anyone has seen anything else that might work...

Yeah, I was looking at that one too - but I can't seem to find a hex count, plus its very pricey right now! thanks!

You could buy a second copy and cut the map into hexes. Not sure loose hexes are ideal for moving a large number of pieces on though.

I actually do have three copies...

But I'm doing it more for portability...
