VASLeague 2017 is now history, Andrea Pagni won his 2nd VASLeague eleven years after the first one in 2007; now it's time for new players or old players that want re-join the League, to subscribe sending an email at VASLeague@gmail.com.

Subscription time expires on 30 December 2017 on 1st January VASLeague 2018 will start for its 12th season in a row. All details and rules (no changes from 2017)are at www.vasleague.org

May be it is has not been clearly said before, but VASLeague, having an entry level called "Second Line League", is the ideal "newbies-friendly" ASL tournament.

In 2017 we had 119 players. Today, when there is a month to subscribe, there are already 124 players at the starting blocks

is there anyone still not aware that the most long-lived and the most attended internet tournament of the most complex wargame existent is at the start of its 12th edition?

Is this play by e-mail, or live play? Also is there a division for ASL starter Kits or is it all full ASL?

it's all in the rules you can find in the site www.vasleague.org and/or in the Game Squad dedicated thread.

VASLeague is live play only, unless BOTH players decide to play via email.
Since the two months time limit per round is NOT flexible, PBeM does not seem a viable option.

Starter Kit scenarios are not allowed, players can play any scenario, but must be true ASL.

And no, no SK sub-league exists.
In past years I tried, but the experiment failed. So currently no space for Starter kit only players in VASLeague.
