Oh so many things. They weren't cubes, for instance. This was obvious when I tried to fit these dice into the holes I had CNC'd into the piece of MDF. The pips aren't all coloured in equally, a lot of them had chips taken out, and all of the dice had this weird coating that was both sticky and fuzzy, and no amount of wiping would take it off.

When I first starting playing, I thought they were great.

The second time we played I touched the green dice for the first time, and they were very sticky.

The third time we played, they were all sticky.

Then I was glad it came with replacement dice.
