22.214.171.124 seems to imply that paths to patrol markers are not subject to ZOCs or even the presence of an enemy unit. I'm assuming you can't place a patrol marker in the same hex as an enemy unit, however could you trace it's movement path (ground move specifically for CIDG) through a PAVN unit when placing such a marker?

Aside from the limits of some Patrol markers concerning range in Movement Points from their parent unit (and the above quoted rule), there are no limits to placing Patrol markers.
