Similarly to how I made boards for the 5-player Warpzone (see this: https://boardgamegeek.com/article/27633586#27633586 ),
I was also inspired by the work of bgger Stephen Hell by his excellent work in the file section:
TI4 Two-Sided Strategy Card/Quick Reference Player Aid - Half Sheet Size

Since turn order is based on initiative, rather than simply going clockwise, it got bit confusing in our first game to remember who's turn it is in action phase.
So one use of his file is to make a turn order board.
Again, this could be simply made by printing on paper or card, but I liked the idea of a proper board.
Here's how it looks:

How it works is simple:
- each player uses an easily identifiable unit/token (we used ground force figure)
- As u pick ur strategy card, place ur unit of the turn order board
- It gives easy visual remender of whi's turn it is, and how soon to plan one's turn
- once a player passes, they tip the unit on the side
- take off all unit at end of status phase, when strategy cards replaced

Here's how I made them:
Tools needed:
1. Metal ruler with cork backing
2. Rotary cutter (Olaf is good make)
3. 2mm Greyboard (A3 sheets)
4. Clear, Matter Sealer/lacquer spray (mine is Plastikote brand)
5. Adhesive spray (Mine is 3M Craftmount)

MUST-WATCH VIDEOS:
- by the amazing "Dining Table print and play" channel

4. How to make Game Boards:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pbbD_Qn4dY4&list=PLj2nMIJFj6...

METHOD:
1. Download the file (see link above)
2. Print on card (linen if you can, It will look better than mine!) on good quality colour printer (I used my local university's print shop)
- USE PRINT OPTION OF "ACTUAL SIZE"
3. Spray the sealer evenly (in well ventilated area), leave for few hours, then spray again - let it dry for 12-24hr
4. Adhesive spray the back of the card, and immediately fix onto the greyboard.
5. Rest something heavy on the card/greboard, to help stick it down + leave it for 24hr to cure.
7. Cut out the board using the metal ruler and rotary cutter (CAREFULLY!!) - the edges of the resulting game boards are soooo smooth, much better than a hobby knife or scissors could do.
8. Use the board in a game without telling your friends, and at the end of the game, watch their jaw drop when you tell them you made those pieces, not FFG! cool

Regards, Sal

We just use a whiteboard. We write everyone's name in turn order, along with the # of their strategy card, and then we can cross out the SC when it gets used. Old-school, but really an easy way to tell turn order at a glance.

Yeah I was about to do that, but as i was making the 5-player warpzone boards anyway, i decided what the heck, might as well make this at the same time!
Plus it looks really nice in play

Cool concept. I've also created a custom turn tracker here:
