Play with turrets and domination mode
Use domination side board and place ammo on the map instead of on the turret board. Play with as many skulls as you want. During final frenzy don't turn the player board over only the action piece.

Place gun cards face down to make gun pickup random.
Overkill goes towards spawn station track

Play as normal with one player board per player, this is your main character. In this variant you play with an additional character.
This character spawns like normal with a power up card at the beginning of your turn. place a colour marker on your board to remember your additional character colour. Each player during their end of turn phase moves their additional character one space. It must be moved once per turn and never diagonal.

If the additional character lands on a space with the opponents main character it deals one damage to the opponent of its colour. If the opponents main character moves into your additional characters space the additional deals one damage.

The additional character takes no damage and is not affected by turrets. It also cannot shoot spawn stations and cannot mark players.
when additional character does damage, place its colour token on opponents player board. when scoring for a kill you score 8 points for main character plus 1 point per additional character damage marker. Additional character does not score first blood only main character.

This variant forces players to not spam a station and can be used to do more damage by using a power up to move someone into a square with a turret and a additional character, doing 1 damage for the turret and 1 damage for the additional character.
It can also be used to block doorways forcing players to go a different way to avoid damage. it can help protect players by placing the additional on the same space as main to help prevent mele attacks.

This is another alternative than playing with a bot and i feel is easier to juggle with only 2 players and from what i have played is lots of fun.
