No, preorders were insufficient to justify mounted maps.

I completely understand modern day finances, budgets, resources, demand and the like, the decision for non mounted maps is understandable, but a downer(at least to me). Maybe we can push for a separate p500 mounted map option like some other gmt games have. Just my own personal opinion here, but no mounted maps is a negative in my book. My gaming group may still get it, but personally I will feel better with a separate mounted map option or waiting for a 2nd ed.
This game looks great and I will be waiting and hoping for some kind of mounted option.

I think if Cataclysm sells out quickly and there is enough demand for a reprint, then a mounted board would be part of the reprint conversation. Other GMT games printed in the last few years have had similar experiences.
