Admit it. If you've watched the show you've thought about it.

Treasure or no, they are finally finding artifacts, that at the very least, will lead to some very interesting history.

The current tragedy of Oak Island is the TV show itself. They started filming these guys years ago and now they're five seasons in with nothing to show for it but monetary losses in the millions. Stupid bastards.

If the guys had found something it would have made for a good hour long special. If not, well then you wasted some time and there's no show, but so what? To turn it into another Deadliest Catch does everyone involved harm.

I haven't even seen the show, but I've heard of Oak Island since I was a kid, and one thing has always been clear: Anybody who goes looking for buried treasure there is delusional. There is a teeny tiny chance that some exists, but frankly I'd be almost as likely to find something valuable digging in my back yard. The amount of money and life lost to that stupid island is mind boggling.

After 4 or 5 seasons, I'v concluded one of two things:

These guys are really smart and know exactly what they are doing.

or

They have more money than brains.

Nevertheless... I find the history fun to learn, and I get a kick out of some of the wacky theories that some of these other "researchers" come on to try and sell.

I also think that the narrator is a bit over the top. He ends every sentence as if it were a question?

Some dirt? In a hole? Could this have been left by the Templar Knights?
