I need some advice. I'm converting the game with 6mm miniatures to play an epic map.
I'd like the map to be fairly balanced, maybe with some terrain so I can add some 3d stiles.
the first army is made up of Romans, so I would like to be able to fight a battle with them.
What I wrote is not a mandatory prerequisite.
Feel free to recommend any map ( official or not)

Thank you Mark for the reference!

Here you can find a full scenario list.
https://www.commandsandcolors.net/ancients/maps/scenario-sta...

In the middle of the list you will also find "Epic scenarios".

I think DonPerizoma is looking for a recommendation for a balanced Epic scenario (official or not), perhaps with some terrain that he'd represent with 3D tiles, featuring the Romans as one of the combatants. He's in the process converting the game for play with 6mm figures.

I'm not a historical expert,I decided to choose a battle that took place in Italy that is the land where I live, so I can document the historical facts better.
I'm undecided about the battle of Benevento or the Battle of Mutina but the latter it is only present as a non-epic map.
I should do a conversion.

You might also consider which type of Roman units you have. If they are Marian legions, late Republican or Imperial troops, that is the Roman soldiers typically portrayed in movies with a large convex rectangular shield, a short sword and lance, then Mutina is probably better. The Romans who fought the battles of Beneventum (Pyrrhic and Punic) had a different aspect. If you are interested I can help with an Epic version of Mutina once I've finished my present project, a scenario on the (maybe legendary) battle of Lake Regillus.

For a fast conversion I can suggest "Armageddon Rules" by Richard Irving, they play quite well!

Example:

BASIC ZAMA

ARMAGEDDON ZAMA

may iask if you are using a hexed cloth or map other than the boards? Interested in buying them and scaling this game up using 15mm figures
