Does my character trigger his own trap? How about my fellow party members? Do monsters trigger their own placed traps? And finally are a monsters placed traps seen as obstacles?

From FAQ:

Quote:
Can I or one of my allies spring a trap that I lay? Can monsters spring their own traps?
Yes, traps have no memory once you place them. They become hazards for everyone.

Let's see: I just stepped on a Bear Trap. What happens?

Ummm... I think you just lost a leg.

(If this were not the case, Monsters would not trigger scenario traps)

Traps (regardless of how they are placed) aren't seen as obstacles. However, monsters (or AI-controlled summons/etc.) will not willingly move through a trap unless there is absolutely no other path (regardless of length) to get to a hex from which they can attack their focus.
