So I think the video I saw was part of BGG's coverage at one of the more recent game conferences. It was for an abstract game with wooden pieces and I believe the goal was to create an uninterrupted path from one side of the board to the other side. You could have your pieces on top of other pieces. I think you could drop off multiple pieces like Five Tribes. Lastly, I think there was some Master piece, of sorts, that had special abilities.

Thanks guys! For some reason I was thinking it was an unreleased game. I feel like I've looked at Tak a few times. I guess I will look again.
