Just out of curiosity, is there any reason why the town folks are split up into separate decks?
Could you not simply shuffle and play with them all?
The rule book recommends to use decks A and B for the first game. Are there any other deck combinations that would give an interesting game?
Each deck has 2 of each scoring condition in it. If you just shuffled them all together, then you could easily have 7x "1vp/cattle" and no "1vp per townsfolk" for example.
The decks have a sort of flavor...
A and B are sort of general
C is more combo-y (rewarding some combination of different actions or strategies)
D is more interactive
E is kind of random (small chance of failure, but also small chance of extra benefit for example)
