Subject: Night phase step order clarification rss

Basically, how strict is the order of steps for the night phase?

It makes sense that you cannot handle radioactivity (step 3) before feeding survivors (step 2) but here is a scenario for steps 4 and 5:
You have a full airlock after recruiting survivors (step 4), then build a room and move survivors from the airlock to the newly built room (step 5).

Now that there is space in the airlock can you jump back to recruiting more survivors into the airlock (step 4) if you have more meat left that you do not want to go to waste?

It's strict and I believe it is intended: for example you can't recruit survivors before the radiation phase and you can't make room in your airlock and then recruit again.

Yep, Simon is correct, you have to follow night phase precisely as shown.
