They don't go anywhere.

Thanks Cole. Pax Pamir has been has been a great hit with my game group here in Iran. Partly due to the theme but I think mainly due its exquisite design. Looking forward to trying your other games, John Company and Roots.

I may have to consider a print and play option for a few games. Are there any threads out there which give advice on how to best do this, i.e. tips on how to get counters done etc?

I'd say there are two options for the counters. The first is to use uncut label paper and then make stickers which you can affix to precut squares (counters from other games, maybe even scrabble tiles).

The second option is to mount your own. I find this easier. Print the counters on a heavy gloss stock paper. Glue the uncut printed sheet to a piece of mat board.

After they are dry use a sharp knife and a straight edge to cut the counters into strips. Then use scissors to cut the individual counters out. Because the vast majority of counters are one sided, you don't need to worry about lining things up and can just do the few backs manually.

Counters?
What counters?

Besides cards, my set came with 50 cubes in 5 colors; 30 cylinders in 3 colors; and 45 discs in 2 colors - all pretty generic.
