So, Hot Deals is for online deals-- where does one post brick-and-mortar deals? Regional forums? General Gaming?

Are Hot Deals only online? Here's what it says:

Quote:
A Hot Deal posting HAS:
1. A price.
2. A Region or virtual platform in the subject line ([US], [Global], [Kansas City, MO, USA], [iOS/Android/PC/Mac], etc.)
--- 2a. Hot Deals for the region of Europe should be posted in the Europe specific subforum: https://boardgamegeek.com/forum/1177627/boardgamegeek/hot-de...
3. A descriptive subject line that includes: retailer and price or discount percentage.
4. A board game or board game related item for sale.

That it gives Kansas City, MO as an example suggests it includes Bricks and Mortar.

I can see why online deals would be more relevant to BGG members. Practically anyone can access them, while B&M deals are accessible to only those who live in that region.

The key to posting in the Hot Deals forum is that if you found a hot deal and want to share it, do it. And ignore the self appointed Hot Deal Police.

Use hot deals and just put store name and location in the title, easy. Some get uptight about hot deals and then there are the rest of us that thank you for your effort.
