Hi Folks,

We are fine tuning at this point but...2 issues arose the other night whilst playing Five Bridges & Hell's Beach:

When retreating from a hex, can a unit exceed it's MP allowance to do so?

What is the firing limit of adjacent units across a clear hexside, when firing up a slope?

The retreat rules only give a few limitations:

* It must be an adjacent hex.

* Assault hexside limits count for retreats.

* For an attacker, it must be a hex the attacker came from OR one occupied by a friendly unit.

* For a defender, across any hexside not available to the attacker.

If all those are met, then yes, it can exceed movement allowance.

Firing up a slope is as the other terrain according to the table on the back of the rulebook. So: two in your case.
