Hi. These two new Michael Kiesling games looks fantastic but they seem to be quite similar.
They are not quite similar. Not even a little bit. I mean, yeah, in both games each player has their own hex board, but the gameplay feels completely different.
I enjoyed both games. Riverboat is a bit more involved. Multiple game phases where you do different things. H&A is much more streamlined. Simpler core rules.
Personally, I enjoy H&A more. But I tend to be learning toward simpler games these days.
