[I realize manually updating this wont work in the long run, so I have stopped updating it. Maybe I will continue at some point again, not sure, but if I do I will have to automate it somehow. The goal was to get an idea about which scores are available, and I think it has served this goal.]

Hi

I would like to keep track of high scores that are reported. If you beat one of the listed scores, feel free to report it, but remember to include number of players.

I got some of the scores from another tread

Note that I did not think about including the difficulty of the Automna when I started this. It is maybe something I will do in the future, so if you supply scores for automna play, remember to include difficulty even if I wont show it at the moment.

Report only real games where all players compete, and not stuff like this: https://terra.snellman.net/game/highscoregame2
If anyone likes to do this kind of thing I could provide a category for it.

And please don't lie...

Good luck!

My highest so far was with HH at 214 in a 2p game. Average across 25 games I kept the score in is 151.72. My least scoring faction is Taklons by a huge margin, can't seem to make them work. Terran, Itar and Nevlas are the consistent winners/high-scorers.

I feel like a lot of it is set-up dependent: the point delta between me and my regular duel opponent is almost always below 15 points, but the points gained by both of us varies greatly, from ~110 to ~190.

me and my regular duel opponent

Since Taklons are all about gaining power, they will profit a lot by being in a 4-player game instead of a 2-player game. It is understandable that they are somewhat weak with just 1 opponent to give you power.

A lot of discussion regarding this topic already took place in this thread, so you might want to dive in for some highscores there as well.

Holy smokes guys I just be doing something wrong as I've just barely cracked 100 haha I actually like seeing your scores so much higher because it shows there is a lot of strategy for me to learn. Funnily enough I had to drag my wife kicking and screaming to the table to play. Her only euro experience is Scythe, we both started playing that at the same the a couple months back and I've played a couple more since that she hasn't. Anyways she has whooped my both times we've played even though I knew the rules going in haha.

That's pretty much what I'd expect from a top player in TM.

Should be easy to get a new High Score at the moment

You can not rely on hi-score reports seriously especially high ones. Most of them might be result of misinterpretation of tiny but very important rules. For example taking advanced tech and climbing to 5 level requires two federation tokens. This is not very clear stated in the rules and people use only one bringing similarity from TM. Or another example Nevlas player builds Planetary Institute early to open double power feature. Then he uses Nevlan ability to move power tokens to Gaia area for knowledge at rate 1:2 what is wrong and creates avalanche effect. Yesterday Nevlan scored 235 and we figured out only after game that there was rule broken by the player and not the game broken

What I want to say? it is interesting to hear how much people score but cannot be taken seriously especially with such complex game like Gaia Project. Real numbers could be obtained only from online game variant like was with TM.

You have a point about people misinterpreting the rules. However, I’ll definitely accept high scores from Horologiom!

I thought about it, and I it might be the case for some scores (the 236 score seems very high!).

I'll keep updating this thread though, it is still of some interest
