I really like this game but in a 3p- and especially in a 2p-game the run for the right crop tile is not as intense as in a 4p game therefore that phase tile is not that valuable. IMO.

So what i thought is that in a 2/3p-game i would setup each round as follows:

- 2 3-hex, 3 2-hex, 6 1-hex tiles in a 2p-game
- 3 3-hex, 3 2-hex, 7 1-hex tiles in a 3p game

This would make this phase a bit more nail-biting. What i am not sure is if that would make the rotation of tiles a bit too luck-based as less tile come out and 1 player could run away with good cultivation due to luck of the draw of the right tiles.

Will try it next few plays and report back.

In the mean time feedback‘s welcome.

Cheers Marco

Perhaps you could remove an equal number of each type from the game before populating the crop-drafting board.

How did it go for you?
