Any word on if pandasaurus is going to fix the rulebook with all the changes. A la meeple colors. And symbology (I checked and nowhere in the rules does it say the 2x meeple is placing 2 meeples to get the abilities effect again)

I understand it intuitively since I play board games often, But some people might not understand that the meeple images are for that purpose on the upgrade tiles. I know not all rulebooks are perfect but it's usually best to idiot proof as much as one can. Some people could take it to mean the 2nd meeple is placed for double the effect, etc... Same goes with an explanation of what the meeple + means on specialist cards and wild dna allowing you to take any combination of dna. Simple symbol graphics with definitions next to them would probably help a lot.

I'm not asking for a new printed rulebook. Just a fixed digital file on here would be great.

There are only 2 errors in the rulebook that we are aware of: (1) the hooligan colors being gold, since that production decision was changed after the rulebook was printed, and (2) an error in one example that shows an incorrect cost for an attraction tile.

Yeah, agreed. But there's a bit of symbology in this game that if people were just occasional board gamers or just getting into the hobby, they wouldn't understand because symbols aren't explained anywhere in the rule book.

I'm not saying they have to, I'm just suggesting that I think it's a bit of an oversight to leave out a section that easily explains the symbols used in the game, that's all.

I agree with you. Another one is the minimum number of players indicator on some lab upgrades.

That's mentioned in the rulebook during the setup section to remove the appropriate tiles from the attraction and lab upgrade stacks.

I agree. I am an infrequent board game player. I played a solo round and we played a short game over the weekend. I appreciated the updated instructions PDF but really would like to see an image of all symbols and a brief explanation of how to interpret them. We wasted a lot of play time trying to figure out the meaning of triangles, pips, 3+, 4+, $2/1, 1/2, 1/3, and various DNA on the die. There really is no reason the online rules/instruction manual has to be as shorter than the original rule book. In a PDF file, there is room for the concise basic rules plus an appendix with more complete explanation of each symbol, game board, tile, specialist card, game card, and game rule where issues are being reported.

The game was great fun. I wish we could have played a long game but rule issues and searching for explanations ate up too much time.

I puzzled over the +4 & +3 the entire game, my daughter would ask and all I could answer was we are ignoring it because I can't find it in the book. I figured out the triangle thanks to the excitement board marking, which then led me to understand the 🌟. The manual should have a visual card type breakdown of the symbols.

I did think the mapping out of the overall table setup was well done.
